I’m combining my love for storytelling and many years in marketing to pivot into freelance and fractional work. I’m tired of corporate life - it has taken me too long to realize that it doesn’t align with how I want to live my one wild and precious life.
A bit about my background: I’ve spent the last 11 years in marketing with a focus on video and content creation and message development. I started my career as a journalist because I’m an idealist. I wanted to make a difference. When I realized the way most newsrooms were run didn’t align with my values of empathy and deep meaning, I fell into marketing because the skills transferred and I found the challenge exciting. I spent much of my early marketing career creating content, blog writing, video marketing, and copywriting and then transitioned into strategic and leadership roles.
My passion project is my elopement photography and filmmaking business - I love to document and tell stories. I only take a few couples on in a year and I’m happiest that way.
For now, my goal is to take my experience in marketing and love for storytelling and channel it into to women-owned businesses to help them succeed.
