At Ambire Collective, we believe community is the business plan

About our name
When we looked at our members and asked ourselves what connects every single woman in this community, the answer was obvious. It wasn't industry, or stage of business, or geography.
It was their ambition. Their willingness to reach toward their often lofty dreams with courage and curiosity, even when safety and sure-bets would have been much more comfortable.
Ambire is a Latin word for ambition, and it felt right the second we found it.
Collective, came shortly after because that's what we are. We’re not a brand built around two founders or any one person. We’re a community of women building alongside each other.

We know that ambitious women are prone to working themselves into isolation and that they have a hard time asking for help, but we believe that the strongest businesses and people are built in community not in isolation.
To provide a space for ambitious female entrepreneurs to be seen, supported, and validated in their experiences as entrepreneurs and as people.
To enable future generations of women to pursue their most ambitious goals and know they have support.

How we metOur co-foundership is proof this community works
We didn’t know each other before this community. . We actually met at the first event back when we were still Hive Ambition.
Ashley started this community because she believed women in business deserved genuine support. Rachel showed up to that first event and got hooked. While Ashley spent the next year and a half building the community and hosting hundreds of events, Rachel spent as much time as possible inside it, attending events and connecting with the women there. And throughout all of this, our friendship began to develop.
Ashley had always preached "lean on community," but was quietly struggling to keep it all together. Rachel could see what Ashley was carrying, and while she'd been getting ready to launch her own community business, she realized she'd rather invest in the one she already loved. So she approached Ashley with the idea of partnership.
In November 2025, we made it official. Our co-foundership is proof of what can happen when you invest in community and allow it to support you.
The Faces Behind Ambire Collective
Meet Ashley
Chief Operations OfficerHow I got here:
I spent over a decade in people operations and talent strategy, working my way up to Chief Operations Officer at a NYC software consultancy where I built their hiring and team infrastructure from the ground up. Somewhere along the way I realized that the thing that lit me up most wasn't the title, it was the people. Specifically, the women around me figuring out hard things. I believe we build better together than we ever could in isolation, and I want my daughter's generation to inherit a little more of that than mine did.
When I’m not working:
Most weekends, you’ll find me outside somewhere in the mountains with my husband, Miles and our six-year-old hiking, camping, biking, or doing absolutely nothing on our deck. At home, I'm cooking or baking, deep in a fantasy or sci-fi novel, playing cards, or crafting with my daughter (aka making anything we can find into a disco ball). We share our house with a cat and a golden retriever, who is, without question, the problem child.
A little woo:
Pisces sun, aquarius rising, enneagram 1w2, manifesting generator - wired to see what's possible and annoyed that it isn't here yet.

Meet Rachel
Chief Growth OfficerHow I got here:
I've spent nearly 15 years helping companies like BetterHelp and Suze Orman generate more than $15M in growth. My path to digital entrepreneurship started when I was 20 years old, when I walked out of my job with 2 weeks to figure it out, and totally replaced my income within a month. Now, I own a thriving growth consultancy called Found Forward. As a self-taught entrepreneur who spent most of her time working in isolation, I'm deeply passionate about making sure no other woman ever feels like she has to walk that same path.
When I’m not working:
I'm either watching reality tv, reading a good book (send me your weird girl recs), or spending as much time in nature as my allergies will allow. I'm married to an absolute gem, sci-fantasy author (Maurice Africh) who makes every day magical, and I'm a dog mom to the world's crankiest chihuahua, Toby. When I'm not spending my days with those two, you'll find me deep in conversation with the most wonderful friends and family.
A little woo:
Enneagram 3w2, 5/1 emo-manifestor, gemini sun/aries moon/sagittarius rising…I'm also an oldest daughter… and it's obvious.
