One step at a time
Asheville, North Carolina
I am a business leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership, contract negotiations, business development, and operations. I currently work in network contracting for Humana while building RISE 828, a woman-owned corporation in Asheville.
RISE 828 is a community-focused combat sports, fitness, youth development, and entrepreneurship center. I am also developing Distortion, our live entertainment division, which supports independent artists and Asheville’s creative community. Through both brands, I am working to create an inclusive space where women, young people, athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs can build confidence, develop skills, and find meaningful opportunities.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration and am a former healthcare agency operator, boxing coach, and national boxing champion. As a wife and mother, I understand the challenge of balancing family, a career, and entrepreneurship. I am passionate about connecting with other ambitious women, sharing resources, supporting one another, and turning bold ideas into sustainable realities.
